The Passages of Life Bible

Released by Thomas Nelson Publishers in 1995, the Passages of Life Bible "integrates faith with real life issues, and speaks to men and women who want to move onward and upward in their spiritual lives," according to the dust jacket. It is intended for the reader who is in the middle ages of life.

Edited by Dale Hanson Bourke, the Passages of Life Bible features a couple of hundred articles by various Christian authors addressing the spiritual and practical concerns of middle-aged Christians. These articles are placed in close proximity to the Bible passage on which they are based. The appendix includes a concordance, a Scripture reading plan, as well as personal journal pages.

Its target audience is my generation -- the baby boomers. Although I have not yet seen this particular Specialty Bible, it is on my list.
