A Walking Tour of Millinocket Stream

From the condition of the metal and other debris, it is obvious that the mess that this stream is in is not a new phenomenon. People are complaining now only because the water level is low enough that they can see, and smell it.

Note the rust-red taint of the mud. This coloring exists even in areas where there isn’t such an abundance of visible metal debris.
