Shriners Parade 06/21/03

  It is with great pleasure that I welcome you and your families to Millinocket for your June 2003 Shrine Ceremonial. This annual celebration offers you the opportunity to reflect on the many good works that you do throughout the year and to re-energize yourselves for the coming year.
  Your outstanding support and work on behalf of children through your extensive network of hospitals has provided not only hope, but also thousands of successful cures, to children and their families, from around the world. Whether they suffered severe burns, birth defects, or tragic accidents, you have been there to help them - without any cost to the families. In today’s world, this is a remarkable story that cannot be told too often.
  Millinocket is proud to host your events and pleased to welcome you back to our community. It is our most sincere hope that you will enjoy your weekend with us.
  In my capacity as Chairman of the Millinocket Town Council, I hereby declare the weekend of June 21, 2003 to be Millinocket Shriners and Masons Weekend.
