A Walking Tour of Millinocket Stream

That’s not water you see on the grass, it’s slime. If I had to guess at its composition, I’d say that it was a combination of water, oil, and the algae, bacteria, and whatever else it is that grows on it.

Can we look only to previous owners of the mill to find those who have profited from the pollution of Millinocket Stream? Wouldn’t it be fair to assume that there is some responsibility to be claimed by everyone who has ever worked for Great Northern or for a dependent business?
