I was going to prove that they were level, but I guess you can't really read it from the picture.
I'm half done with the crossbeams.
Still half done.
I'll be nailing some inexpensive spruce to the bottom of the crossbeams, creating a roof. The prop vents will extend to an area superior to the top of the crossbeams, with additional insulation on top of the interior roof. That should permit cool air to circulate from the eaves, through the prop vents and into the new attic space that I'll be creating. That ought to keep the room warm and the roof cool.
I'm fastening the crossbeams to the rafters using TimberLok FastenMaster 4
Five of them in place now.
