This is currently the only way into the attic, as seen from a vantage point near the landing of the stairs and the upstairs kitchen.
With a good stretch of floor in place on the north side, I've extended it toward the south, laying it on top of some rolls of insulation.
The hard part, or one of the harder parts, anyhow, around the entryway and chimney, is done. I also have some floor space upon which to lay my tools, a welcome relief after having lost a few of them in the insulation.
Taken from the top of the stepladder, that's Denny coming out of the upstairs bathroom.
While the men are in the attic working, Michelle is playing computer games and watching television.
