I miscounted my need for 2x6's, and I'm short one. I'll have to finish it off in the morning, as the lumber yard is closed right now.
I've removed a couple of the old crossbeams. It's nice to be able to walk around without having to duck under them all the time -- or worse, hit my head.
A few minutes in the attic sure can screw up a camera lense. It'll be nice when I get the insulation all closed in.
For now, I've left the two crossbeams on the south side. I use one of them for support when I lift myself through the entryway, so I'll probably leave that one there until I get a stairway in.
Now I can walk around the north side without ducking. I guess I'll go back to work on the prop vents tomorrow.
