Orthopaedic Hospitals

Nineteen Shriners Hospitals provide orthopaedic care and rehabilitation to children with congenital orthopaedic deformities, problems resulting from orthopaedic injuries, and diseases of the muskuloskeletal system.

Shriners Hospitals treat children in a family-centered environment, recognizing that while medicine may heal a child’s body, it is equally important to tend to the child’s sense of well being. Involving the family in the child’s treatment helps to build the family support system so often necessary in order to help the child meet the challenges of his or her particular problem.

Shriners Hospitals are staffed with pediatricians and specialists to ensure comprehensive care for children with associated medical problems.
