A Walking Tour of Millinocket Stream

This may be nothing more than a storm drain, but the water doesn’t look very clean and it hasn’t been raining. This drain leads into Millinocket Stream from an area adjacent to the mill offices.

Most of the storm drains that I came across on my tour did not have water flowing through them, as I would expect, given the fact that, as I have said, it hasn’t been raining. Others have a steady flow, and I can’t help but wonder where the water is coming from.
