A Walking Tour of Millinocket Stream

The kindest thing that I can say about this picture is that it gets worse. Let’s remember that the mess we see in and along Millinocket Stream has been there for many years, some of it perhaps as long as the town. On my tour, I have seen broken glass of the type that hasn’t been made in 50 years or more, so the only thing new here is that the water levels are low enough that we can see it.

In this picture alone, note the rusting metal, and the broken glass that has obviously been embedded in the dirt for a long while.

Our next picture will further demonstrate the age of the debris that can be found in Millinocket Stream.
