A Walking Tour of Millinocket Stream

We’re about to leave this location, walking further north. If anyone knows, or has an idea where the water flowing into the stream through this drain is coming from, please let me know.

It’s not a rhetorical question, nor is it intended to suggest some hidden evil. We are in a drought, it is not raining today, nor has it rained significantly for quite some time; and the mill hasn’t been in operation for more than five months, yet there is a steady flow of water coming from the mill.

I’m genuinely curious.
