  • 1969-1971 Several short jobs in the UP of Michigan, including VernCo, Yar-Craft, a chair factory with a name that I cannot remember, and Klenk Chemical Company. Mostly, I spent this time hitchhiking around the country, demonstrating against the War, and doing other 60’s stuff.
  • 1971-1971 En route to California, Karl Bradley and I spent some time working with a bridge construction crew near Homestead, Iowa.
  • 1971-1972 Assistant manage of an apartment complex in Buena Park, California, owned by Mrs. See of See’s Candies.
  • 1972-1975 Brownie’s Body and Towing Company in Buena Park, California.
  • 1975-1975 Telephone solicitor with Trane Home Comfort Center in Fullerton, California.
  • 1975-1979 Hoerner-Waldorf Bag Company in Fullerton, California.
  • 1979-1983 Champion International Paper Company assumed control of Hoerner-Waldorf and moved the plant from Fullerton to Anaheim, California.
  • 1983-1986 Duro Paper Bag Company in Brownsville, Texas.
  • 1984-1996 SysOp, Newberry BBS, which cost me far more than it earned but was worth it anyhow.
  • 1985-1992 EMS Instructor, Texas Southmost College in Brownsville, Texas.
  • 1985-1998 Author, KA_Soft Software.
  • 1986-1990 EMS Director / Health Inspector / Building Inspector for the City of Los Fresnos, Texas.
  • 1990-1992 Training Coordinator, Catalina Ambulance Company in McAllen, Texas.
  • 1992-1994 Program Chairman, EMT Program, Texas State Technical College, Harlingen and McAllen campuses.
