Having never worked at the mill, I don’t know what this is. It’s across the stream on the mill side.

Paper mills are voracious water users. Their consumption of fresh water can seriously harm habitat near the mills, reduce water levels necessary for fish, and alter water temperatures, a critical environmental factor for fish. Mill wastewater wreaks havoc on surrounding ecosystems.
