A Walking Tour of Millinocket Stream

I don’t think it takes much in the way of expertise to recognize that Millinocket Stream is a badly polluted waterway.

As a community dependent upon Great Northern, we were willing to grant tax incentives that were not made available to other companies, and we were willing to overlook some environmental concerns. These were not the actions of some evil cabal, or the fault of corrupt politicians, but a reasonable tradeoff made by people who needed the work and the benefits offered by Great Northern.
