I’ve heard that the larger plan is for Delta Lake to once again be opened up for boating and swimming.  At this point, however, while people have been known to launch boats onto the lake after dark, both swimming and boating are prohibited.

Delta Lake Park is equipped with a large number of picnic tables, barbecue grills, and playground equipment.

Reopened to the public only a few years ago, it has become a popular place for events, family get-togethers, picnics, and holiday activities.

The road leading from the park area is overgrown on one side by grass and brush, a good spot for birdlife, many of which can be seen in the air and in the trees.

Located on the west side of Delta Lake, the Delta Lake Resort is a private resort for members only.

The Delta Lake Drive-Inn, just south of the Delta Lake park entrance, does not appear to be in business any longer.
