The following photographs were taken from within the area of Delta Lake, Texas in January, February, and March of 2001 -- displayed in no particular order.
FM-88 as you are traveling north, approaching the Delta Lake Park entrance. Just past the entrance to the park is the bridge, with portions of Delta Lake on both the east and the west sides of the road. Further north is the Willacy County line.

The path along the inside of the Delta Lake bridge is a popular spot for fishing and perhaps a few other things.

This scene is from the east side of the bridge.  If you can ignore the beer bottles and cans, and if you don’t mind the graffiti, this is supposed to be a good spot to fish.
