The following photographs were taken from within the area of Delta Lake, Texas in January, February, and March of 2001 -- displayed in no particular order.

Taken from the east side of the Delta Lake bridge, on the path along the water, looking out through the brush, over the lake toward the east.

Facing north, from the south side of the park, this is a nice lake, it’s too bad they don’t even allow boating.

When the lake was created, it filled in an area that was overgrown in mesquite and brush. The trunks of these trees can be seen here.
Pelicans and other birds can be seen sitting atop most of the trees.
This is a view of the lake from the south side of Delta Lake Park, facing northeast.

I don’t remember just where this was. This is the sort of brush, grass, and weeds that line much of the park.

In the main part of the park, the pavilion is used for large events and family get-togethers.
