Students boycotting classes in November 1968 demonstrate at Edcouch-Elsa High School the day after walking out of classes following the school board's failure to meet with them. Eventually, the 31 students who were expelled and 94 who were suspended won a civil rights lawsuit with the help of the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Education Fund, and were re-admitted.
