Civil War - From my hardtack site, this area highlights the Civil War book, Hardtack and Coffee: Or the Unwritten Story of Army Life, but also includes a wide variety of Civil War history books, films, and music.

Home Renovation - My wife and I bought an old house for $14,500, and converted it from a 3-apartment residence to a single-family home.  As most of my family is in the midwest while I am living in Maine, I put a section up on my site to show my family what we’ve been doing with the house, with a link from my homepage. Finding that it was receiving a lot of hits from Google, mostly from people searching for “attic renovation,” I decided to add some links to home renovation books on Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.

Idiot’s Guides - You’ve heard of the Idiots’s Guides to .. just about everything.  I have a site that I use as a playground, located at worthlessidiots.com, so I thought that the Idiot’s Guides would be at least as on-topic as anything else I have there.

Patriotism - Following the tragedies of September 11, my wife and I found ourselves spending hours on end, both listening to the news and scouring the web for additional information. As with so many, we felt a need to .. do something, and since making websites is what we do, we decided to do that.  On 11-sept.org, you’ll find a comprehensive archive of graphics, resources, and news about September 11 and the events following. After receiving requests from people looking for books, music, and other items related to the United States of America, we put up a store for that purpose. You’ll find a good selection of books, music, and other items to feed the national renewal of patriotism.

Railroads - While working on a site devoted to the northern Maine community of Soldier Pond, which later grew to envelop neighboring Wallagrass and New Canada, as well as all of Aroostook County, I developed an appreciation for the importance of the railroad in the history of Maine.  My Aroostook County, Maine site includes a collection of railroad photographs, and its store contains books, films, and collectibles relating to railroads and railroading.

State of Maine - While my site features only Aroostook County, and more specifically the Aroostook communities of Soldier Pond, New Canada, and Wallagrass, its store includes books relating to Maine history, to Maine itself, as well as Maine authors, highlighing such authors as Stephen King, Cathie Pelletier, and Richard Russo.

State of Michigan - Focuses on books relating to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and UP pasties, but also includes books on Michigan history, to the state of Michigan, and to Michigan authors of both fiction and non-fiction.

Pasties - Cookbooks including pasty recipes and other samples of Upper Peninsula of Michigan cuisine.

Cats - Look at pictures of my cats, and I’ll try to sell you litter boxes, cat doors, pet feeding devices, flea killers, and more.

War on Terrorism - Our 11-sept.org site also includes information regarding terrorism, terrorists, and terrorist nations, as well as types of terrorism.  Its store includes books relating to terrorism.

Wild Cats - My Ocelots Index site includes books, posters, and perhaps some other things relating not only to ocelots, but to lions, tigers, jaguars, mountain lions, cougars, pumas, and other wild cats.
