The Spirit-Filled Bible

Published by Thomas Nelson Publishers in 1991, the Spirit-Filled Life Bible is an effort to provide a transdenominational Study Bible for those of the Pentecostal or charismatic traditions. To that end, scholars from twenty Pentecostal and charismatic fellowships prepared articles and notes that highlight the role of the Holy Spirit in the Christian life. New releases are published periodically.

The Spirit-Filled Life Bible contains three types of in-text notes, shaded to attract the reader's attention:

  1. Kingdom Dynamics
  2. Word Wealth
  3. Truth-in-Action

Other features include articles addressing such topics as "Bridging the Testament," "Dealing with Last Things," and "The Holy Spirit and Restoration." Pat Robertson contributed an essay entitled "Spiritual Answers to Hard Questions."

A concordance and map sections are also included. Notes on the Bible text seek to clarify the meaning of words and phrases, particularly as they related to charismatic traditions.

The Spirit-Filled Life Bible is based on the New King James Version.
